Hayworth's hardwood flooring & new wall

The Hayworth's wanted some help removing the brick wall in their home, and also installing prefinished hardwood flooring. The previous owners had added a bonus room off the dinner room. When they added the new room they didn't think to remove the outside brick wall. The Hayworth's wanted help removing the wall. I suggested rather than remove the wall, that it might be better to cover it up. I installed small 1x4 boards to the brick with concrete screws. This gave us something to hold the new sheet rock I installed. After the new sheetrock was hung & finished I trimed out the doorway and the result was a new wall with no evidence of the old brick wall.
After I made the wall repairs Billy and I installed these beautiful hardwood floors, new base boards, and crown molding in the bonus & dinning room. As you can see from the pictures the project was a great success.
